About The Position

Monte Nido is seeking a Remote Licensed Therapist for our LGBTQIA+ Virtual Adult Program. This position requires a full license and offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for therapists licensed in three states where Monte Nido provides services. With over two decades of experience in treating eating disorders, Monte Nido combines medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach, utilizing evidence-based strategies for both adults and adolescents. The Primary Therapist will manage a client caseload, providing group, individual, and family therapy, conducting psychosocial assessments, and collaborating with the treatment team to formulate Master Treatment Plans. The therapist will also coordinate discharge planning and maintain communication with referral sources and other services as needed. The schedule includes Monday to Friday with traditional business hours for three days and two evenings per week.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Providing therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances and intersecting identities.
