About the position
The Virtual Sales Specialist at Syneos Health is responsible for executing outbound marketing and providing customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical environment. This role involves delivering sales presentations to healthcare professionals and managing territory information while ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. The position is part of the Deployment Solutions team, which collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to enhance healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to healthcare professionals and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with healthcare professionals and office staff.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree minimum required
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a history of documented success
- Expert selling skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong preference for 1+ years of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts
- Ability to quickly learn and convey complex product information to healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.
