The Neurodiagnostic Lab compliments Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Neuroscience division. Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a Level IV Epilepsy Center, utilizing state of the art video monitoring equipment with a dedicated staff of Neurologists and Neurodiagnostic technologists. Role Purpose Provides continuous observation by video surveillance of assigned patients (including high-risk patients). Verbally redirects patients from engaging in at risk behaviors and summons the Clinical Team if the patients requires assistance, or if in any imminent danger to self or others. Serves as a Patient Safety Companion remotely observing and assisting with keeping patients safe.
