About The Position

We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities, and behavioral or medical complexities in our supported living programs in Olympia! As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with the person served to provide coaching, supervision, and role-modeling life skills. The job may also include providing transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, behavioral support, and assistance with personal cares.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is required.
• Valid Driver's License and consistent access to a vehicle is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication skills are essential for documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities and behavioral or medical complexities.
• Support persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence.
• Provide coaching, supervision, and role-modeling life skills.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Administer medication.
• Prepare meals.
• Offer behavioral support.
• Assist with personal cares.
