About The Position

Dungarvin is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and looking for YOU to join our team! We are seeking compassionate individuals to assist individuals with disabilities, and behavioral or medical complexities in our supported living programs in Olympia. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. You will work with the person served to provide coaching, supervision, and role-modeling life skills. The job may also include providing transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, behavioral support, and assistance with personal cares.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Valid Driver's License and consistent access to a vehicle
• Good communication skills for documentation and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities
• Provide coaching and supervision to increase independence
• Administer medication as required
• Prepare meals for individuals served
• Offer behavioral support and assistance with personal cares
• Document care and follow support plans
• Collaborate with internal and external team members
