Virtual Health Facilitator Full Time Days

About The Position
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Virtual Health Facilitator will assist with school nurse training, community outreach, patient/student registration, insurance verification, scheduling, performing testing, and performing and/or assisting with virtual visits at the schools. This role will support the following school districts: Van Buren, Scott, Oneida, and Cumberland
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 3 months of pediatric experience preferred
- 1-year experience preferred
- 1-year virtual health/telemedicine experience preferred
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required
- Effective communication skills
- Strong computer skills pertinent to use of laptops and tablets
- Travel to off-site locations throughout the region
- Excellent problem solving are required as is the ability to multi-task and to work both independently and within a team
- Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required.
- Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending, and reaching is required.
- Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree in Computer Science, Health/Medical, or related field preferred
- Implementation experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident interactions with community partners
- Experience with Apple products preferred
