About The Position

The Virtual Events Manager will play a crucial role in organizing and managing virtual events for a growing non-profit focused on health equity. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful event execution, from planning to post-event analysis. The role is open-ended and requires flexibility in hours, with increased workload leading up to events and lighter duties in between.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of virtual events management experience.
  • Proficient in Zoom Webinar, Eventbrite, PowerPoint, and Canva.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas for events.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing roundtable style virtual events held in Zoom Webinar rooms.
  • Ensuring that panelists have all necessary materials and coordinating pre-event meetings.
  • Creating Eventbrite pages for participant registration.
  • Collaborating with the Social Media Manager on promotional campaigns and creating digital assets in Canva.
  • Launching the Webinar on the event day and managing participant access.
  • Posting poll questions during events and compiling results into reports.
