About The Position

The Virtual Engagement Associate (VEA) Program at Morgan Stanley is a two-year initiative designed for recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. This program provides participants with the opportunity to gain essential financial services knowledge, obtain necessary licensing, and work closely with Financial Advisors (FAs) to enhance client engagement and business growth. VEAs will develop skills in digital marketing, financial planning, and client relationship management, preparing them for future roles within the firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; 0-3 years of professional experience in finance, business development, management, marketing, sales, legal, accounting, education, military, or other business-related fields preferred.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required prior to formal interview.
• Series 7 and 63 preferred prior to start date; otherwise required within 90 days of joining the desk.
• Exemplary communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills are essential.
• Organized, focused, and highly disciplined with the ability to manage competing needs of assigned FAs.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisors (FAs) by implementing custom digital marketing and communication strategies.
• Build authentic goals-based financial plans for clients and prospects using Morgan Stanley's Financial Planning tools.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse array of clients and FAs to drive business opportunities.
• Innovate and share new ideas to attract and retain clients, contributing to business growth.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to assist FAs with inquiries and enhance client experiences.
