About The Position
The Virtual Desktop Engineer III will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and remote desktop environments within a healthcare-focused health insurance company. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in virtual desktop technologies, OS and software lifecycle management, cloud-based solutions, and a strong understanding of security and regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry. This position demands a highly skilled individual who can lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and provide advanced troubleshooting and support for end-users. The Senior Virtual Desktop Engineer will collaborate closely with the IT and Information Security teams to ensure that virtual desktop solutions align with the company's goals of maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient IT operations for all employees.
