About The Position

The Virtual Construction Engineer is responsible for supporting the use of Virtual Construction across DAVIS projects including trade coordination, visualization studies, site logistics plans, 4d scheduling, direct layout from model, and 5d estimating. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction related field or equivalent work experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in project engineering
  • Experience using Building Information Model (BIM) systems
  • Intermediate understanding of VC software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp and 4D Tools)
  • Decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills
  • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization
  • MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience
  • Intermediate ability to produce models using various applications
  • Ability to understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings, as well as related specifications

Responsibilities
