About The Position

The Virtual Auto Estimator/Appraiser will complete estimates from photos or
video submitted by customers and/or body shops. The Virtual Auto Estimator will
use this information to process claims payments as necessary.

This role must report to our Uniondale, NY office 4 days per week and can work
remotely 1 day per week.

This role requires a Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser's License

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university
• Related claims experience or a thorough knowledge of automobile parts and repair techniques, terminology and vehicle construction.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Obtaining Appraisal Licenses required for certain states.
• Must have Massachusetts MVDA License

Responsibilities

• Work in a Team Environment with our Virtual Estimating Team
• Provide exceptional customer service ensuring that public relations are maintained at all times.
• Efficiently write accurate estimates based on photos and videos meeting production guidelines.
• Complete, review and reconcile supplemental repair estimates.
• Review and negotiate estimates with customers and or repair facilities.
• Document claim files with notes, evaluations and decision making process.
• Process claim payments as necessary.
• Evaluate vehicle condition for Total Loss Settlements.
• Adhere to state regulatory compliance.
