About The Position

The VIP Model Bartender/Server delivers a premier, memorable guest experience by providing exceptional, timely, and friendly service. This role actively engages guests, anticipates needs, and builds positive interactions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and brand representation. The position requires extensive knowledge of bartending—from fundamentals to crafting specialty cocktails—and the ability to perform Flair‑style bartending to entertain guests. Mastery of bar equipment, recipes, mixing techniques, and accurate pouring is essential. The VIP Model Bartender/Server uses strong communication and problem‑solving skills to address guest concerns and involve management when appropriate. Success in this role requires exceptional hospitality, self‑motivation, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding environment. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a minimum of one year of beverage‑serving experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Clark County Health Card
  • Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM Card)
  • Valid Non-Gaming/Sheriff’s Card

Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while providing both bartending and server service to guests.
  • Deliver premiere guest service through friendly engagement, anticipating needs, and remaining calm and professional—especially with difficult or upset guests.
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with managers, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
  • Complete all work accurately, efficiently, and on time while adhering to safety policies and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Mix and serve drinks according to specified recipes and maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beer, wine, and non‑alcoholic selections.
  • Perform flair routines, tricks, and assigned dances for guests and large crowds.
  • Maintain full knowledge of glassware, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes for each drink.
  • Keep the bar and surrounding areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Set up and close the bar according to company standards, including cutting fruit, preparing supplies, and securing all items.
  • Accurately process payments, maintain cash drawer integrity, and follow all banking procedures.
  • Attend scheduled shifts and staff meetings consistently.
  • Cocktail, bus, and serve guests throughout the shift, ensuring a clean, visually appealing environment, including maintaining clean ashtrays.
  • Display professionalism and a friendly, approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members as needed.
  • Maintain all appearance and uniform standards with excellent personal hygiene.
  • Support overall operation of the bar and ensure proper documentation of comps, spills, mistakes, refusals, and breakage per department policy.
  • Report irregularities or unusual situations to the manager on duty promptly.
  • Ensure full compliance with company and state alcohol service regulations.
  • Remain calm, friendly, and helpful in high‑stress and fast‑paced situations with honesty and integrity in all interactions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and company requirements for working in the industry.
