About The Position

The VIP Host/Doorman sets the tone from the moment guests arrive, bringing energy, personality, and exceptional first impression. This role is all about creating an elevated, memorable experience while keeping the flow smooth and the vibe right. You’ll manage entry and exits, keep the crowd moving seamlessly, and make sure VIP guests feel like VIPs every step of the way. At the same time, you’re maintaining a safe, secure, and well-organized environment so everyone can enjoy the experience without missing a beat.

Requirements

• Experience in nightlife, hospitality, or high-volume venues preferred
• Strong communication skills with a polished and confident demeanor
• Ability to read guests and adapt approach based on clientele
• Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures
• Ability to stay composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and strong personal presence
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in loud, high-energy environments
• Ability to manage large crowds and respond quickly to situations

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a professional, welcoming, and confident presence
• Manage door operations including guest flow, waitlists, VIP’s
• Control entry points and exits of the property
• Identify and prioritize VIP guests, ensuring seamless and elevated entry experience
• Verify identification and enforce age, dress code, and venue policies
• Coordinate closely with hosts, managers, and security to manage capacity and flow
• Handle guest concerns, walk-ins, and difficult situations with professionalism
• Assist in crowd control while maintaining a hospitality-first approach
• Monitor the entrance area for safety, cleanliness, and organization
