Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) is the online and retail sports betting and online gaming business of Fanatics. Like Fanatics, FBG was built for our fans - they are the reason we do this work and why we show up everyday. Our customers deserve better and we are working to be the #1 online sports betting and iGaming operator. Launched in 2021, our platform includes: Fanatics Sportsbook is our sports betting platform and encompasses both online and retail/brick and mortar sportsbooks. Fanatics Casino is our online gaming product. FanApp is the super app that will be the one stop shop for all things Fanatics. A product that serves the Fanatics enterprise, where fans can come purchase jerseys, find trading cards, and bet - all in one place! Role Summary The VIP Development Representative is a crucial role within the Fanatics Betting & Gaming VIP team. It is focused on elevating the customer experience by engaging potential high-value gaming customers. This role involves creating bespoke promotions tailored to customer interests, supporting go-to-market strategies, and driving the acquisition and retention of VIP clients through exceptional service and tailored engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional experience in customer service, B2C sales, casino marketing.
  • Experience within the gaming industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM and sales software tools.
  • Able to thrive in a target-driven, entrepreneurial, and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel approximately 25% of the time to offices, conferences, and events.
  • Legal residence in a state where online sports betting is legalized.
  • Must be willing to be in-office (NYC or Denver) 3 days a week, and available to work on weekends during busy points of the sports calendar year.

Responsibilities

  • Engage potential VIP customers, offering tailored promotions and guiding them towards engagement with VIP Account Managers.
  • Manage the intake, validation, and onboarding of VIP customers into the FanaticsONE Status Match program.
  • Make outbound calls to gather feedback and gain insights into customer preferences and behavior, utilizing this data to enhance the VIP onboarding and retention process.
  • Attend marquee events and facilitate VIP acquisition events and activations as a representative of Fanatics Sportsbook.
  • Verify proof of competitor status, scrutinizing documentation to authenticate and match against FanaticsONE loyalty tiers.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage and document all customer interactions and transactions effectively.
  • Work with the Trading Team to flag customers early for potential additional review and assist in tracking approval rates, response times, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Achieve and exceed targets for customer contact, conversion, retention, and responsible gaming metrics.
  • Work collaboratively within the VIP team and across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and meet company goals.

  • Base salary range: $50,000 - $64,300 per year, depending on experience.
