About The Position
The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a beloved destination with an enviable oceanfront location, has recently undergone a $50 million renovation, enhancing its status as a South Beach icon. This position is responsible for coordinating world-class VIP services for hotel guests, ensuring that their experience is exceptional from the moment they arrive. The role involves directing the friendly, professional, and efficient registration of all VIP guests, ensuring their requests are met promptly and any complaints are resolved in a timely manner. The individual will act as a liaison between VIP guests and various hotel departments, facilitating communication and teamwork to exceed guest expectations. Key responsibilities include overseeing the reception and registration process for VIP guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and resolving any issues that arise. The position requires inspecting VIP rooms prior to guest arrival to identify and address any deficiencies, as well as contacting guests in advance to ascertain their special service needs. The role also involves coordinating airport transportation, ordering flowers, and ensuring the timely delivery of amenities. The individual will participate in the meet and greet of VIP guests and ensure that personalized welcome notes are delivered. Additionally, the position requires attention to the needs of children and pets traveling with VIP guests, and maintaining accurate records of group and transient periods. The successful candidate will work closely with various hotel teams to ensure that all services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. This includes attending pre-conference meetings, reviewing group resumes, and ensuring accurate communication regarding hotel facilities. The role also involves adhering to Loews Hotels Star Service Standards and assisting the VIP Manager as needed. Overall, this position is crucial in maintaining the high level of service that Loews Hotels is known for, ensuring that every VIP guest has an unforgettable experience.
