About The Position

Violin Instructor – Bach to Rock Music School (Wyckoff, NJ) About Us Bach to Rock Music School Wyckoff, NJ is a fun, rewarding, and supportive music school. Our goal is to teach students of all ages to play the music they love while building strong musical foundations and confidence. We are currently seeking a Violin Instructor to teach private lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Experience is preferred, but we are equally looking for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about music education. Our Work Environment Includes Modern music school Private lesson rooms Dedicated band rooms Recording studio & control room Performance space DJ lab Ideal Candidate Strong knowledge of violin technique, posture, bowing, and musical notation Solid understanding of music theory Comfortable teaching beginners through advanced students Patient, creative, and encouraging Passionate about helping students learn, grow, and enjoy music Responsibilities Provide violin lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style Teach technique, tone production, rhythm, and music reading Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents Encourage musical expression, confidence, and creativity Assist students in preparing for recitals and other musical performances Benefits Flexible schedule Paid sick time 401(k) Employee Assistance Program Location Requirement Due to traffic considerations, please apply only if you are located in Bergen, Passaic, or Rockland County .
