About The Position

Do you enjoy working with your hands and building things? If you have experience in construction, carpentry, or fabrication, and have solid, basic computer skills, this is your opportunity to join a team of seasoned professionals at America's Fence Store, a division of American Fence Company, and the top choice for fences, railings, decks, and custom-manufactured items. As a Vinyl Fabricator - Shop Laborer, you will learn to use the latest CNC machines and will be responsible for vinyl fabrication/cutting and packaging. (Note: This job does not involve welding of any kind.) You will work with a proven and successful system of order fulfillment, where each order is custom built, in a fast-paced and growing industry. This full-time, year-round, indoor shop position works Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM. America's Fence Store is a drug-free workplace. Requirements

Prior manufacturing, building, or construction experience.
Solid computer skills.
Carpentry-type skills; must be able to accurately read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inch.
Adept in the use of power tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position involves bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50-85 pounds on a regular basis.
