These are prepared by using a 3D Modeling software (Tekla) along with a proprietary overlay program (VulTek). Detailers will need to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to Steel Joists and Steel Deck and will apply them to the 3D Model. Coordination of Details and Connections with outside Structural Detailers. Work with Vulcraft Engineers on the application of design loading in the 3D model. Ability to work overtime hours when needed to complete projects.   Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • AutoCAD or other CAD software experience.
  • Tekla or other 3D modeling software experience.
  • Bluebeam software experience.

Responsibilities
