About The Position
The Village Care Provider (CNA) delivers routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident's care plan, following established nursing care procedures and under the direction of a supervisor. The CNA is responsible for ensuring the villagers' needs are met with the highest degree of dignity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of previous work experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned villagers
- Feeding villagers and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
- Assisting villagers with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
- Helping villagers stand, walk, exercise, sit, and lie down
- Safely escorting and/or transporting villagers to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility
- Fill out and maintain patient records
- Other tasks as assigned
