About The Position

The University of New Mexico College of Population Health is offering a unique opportunity as a Videography Assistant to support content production. We are seeking a motivated, creative, focused and accountable candidate with demonstrable experience in various aspects of social media, writing skills, and the fundamentals of videography and photography. This position requires the ability to leverage digital tools and online marketing strategies to aid in the development and promotion of the College of Population Health’s “voice” and UNM’s brand to create successful messaging to a variety of internal and external audiences. Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM
• Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count)
• If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Highly creative
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
• Self-starter who is able to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with social media, particularly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
• Experience with Adobe creative cloud, particularly with Premier and After Effects
• Professional mentality and willingness to learn from feedback and take direction
• Problem-solving skills is a must
• Fundamental design aesthetic and any experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Express, Photoshop, or Illustrator) a BIG plus

Responsibilities

• Assists with ideation and planning of social media content calendar
• Assists in the management of existing College of Population Health social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn)
• Assists in the creation of basic collateral (short form video content and graphics for social media) using Adobe Creative Cloud products.
• Posting live to social media and candid photography during events
• Administrative support for the Manager, COPH Creative Services
