About The Position

Videotapes programs and events for broadcast on our website Operates complex video and audio equipment Performs editing procedures Prepares videotaped programs and events for broadcast in our website Transports video and audio equipment to various sites for purpose of videotaping. May use computer applications software in the performance of the job. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES: Good knowledge of principles and practices used in video production and the operation of complex video equipment. Good working knowledge of safe working practices; ability to use complex video and audio equipment Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with everyone Ability to use computer applications software; electronic aptitude; initiative; resourcefulness; tact; courtesy; integrity; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Either: (a) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and an Associate's Degree in Media or Communication Arts or a closely related field and one (1) year of video production experience; or (b) graduation from a trade school specializing in the media arts, and three (3) years of experience as described in (a); or (c) an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b). SPECIAL NOTE: Education may not be substituted for 1 year of video production experience.
