Job Description: Job Title: Videographer Position Summary: Magna Legal Services is seeking experienced candidates in the Legal Video industry to join our Video Department team. This role involves editing, converting, and processing of Video Depositions and the associated data entry required for each job. The ideal candidate will have experience covering in-person video depositions, as well as extensive proficiency in video production.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Videography and Video Production
  • Competence in camera operations, ensuring high-quality video capture during assignments
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, for video editing and post-production tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office for managing documentation, data entry, and reporting.
  • Experience in converting and encoding video files to various formats for different platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, addressing technical issues that may arise during video recordings.
  • Skilled in microphone placement and understanding of audio cable routing to ensure clear and professional sound quality.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on both email and phone communication, ensuring professionalism, responsiveness, and clarity in all client interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) certification, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person coverage for video depositions, ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are managed effectively.
  • Spontaneous requests to provide video services and/or visual-audio equipment installations for in-person depositions, trials or other legal proceedings.
  • Completion of weekly video production assignments, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Handle data entry and paperwork for each assignment, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Answer phones and manage emails in a timely manner while providing proficient customer support.
  • Burn, duplicate and ship DVD’s or other forms of physical media.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support on-site video assignments and depositions.
