About The Position

The Collier Companies is seeking a Videographer! The primary role of the Videographer will be utilizing their prodigious skill in filming and editing to create professional videos in capacities such as training, marketing, and other essential video outlets for usage on company pages both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio with professional videos for businesses that they had a majority hand in editing. The candidate must have a strong understanding of pacing, tone, and narrative in their video editing. This role is not solely a camera operator. This team member will have availability to travel to different regions in the southeastern United States to meet the company video needs. This role will report out of The Collier Companies Florida Home Office in Gainesville, which offers beautiful natural areas, a temperate climate, and tremendous educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities. Requirements

• Proven professional experience in videography and video editing
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar editing software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Portfolio REQUIRED (must include work you personally shot and edited)
• Flexibility in thinking to accomplish goals
• Applicants without a professional portfolio will not be considered.
• Please be sure to list the capacity you served in for the projects in your portfolio.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating content for multiple platforms (marketing, social, training) preferred
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging video content specifically for training and digital learning environments

Responsibilities

• Advise team on needs and costs for all projects including static and variable equipment costs.
• Shoot high-quality video on location
• Edit and color-grade footage to professional standards
• Manage audio clarity and sound design
• Collaborate to ensure videos meet brand and storytelling goals
• Deliver polished final assets ready for distribution internally and externally.
• Schedule is dependent upon assignment and fluctuates with business needs.
• Support video projects from idea to completion (including storyboarding and pre-production planning)
• Translate existing content into short modules intended for digital learning and training
