About The Position

We seek a full-time videographer with an eye for telling the compelling stories that make Oklahoma City unique. This role supports the marketing and communications efforts of Visit Oklahoma City to produce quality video and photo content from conceptualization to final editing. This individual will have subject matter expertise in visual storytelling through short- and long-form video.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a preference given to degrees in communications, graphic design, film or electronic media or comparable experience as a professional videographer.
• Minimum of five years of experience working specifically as a videographer.
• Must be passionate about serving people and working collaboratively.
• Must be comfortable working in a Microsoft environment.
• Must be proficient in using Sony Cine cameras.
• Must be proficient in color-correction in a Sony S-log environment.
• Position requires above average creativity and a proficiency in Adobe Premiere and/or Adobe After Effects.
• Position requires the most up to date knowledge of general lighting, camera operation and capturing audio for video.
• Position requires above average patience and a drive to work collaboratively with a variety of departments and team members to discover creative solutions together.
• Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated strong project, time management and multi-tasking abilities are a must.
• Willingness to work a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry items (up to forty pounds) for long periods of time and/or extended distances.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• A Part 107 drone license certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of other professional video suites such as DaVinci Resolve and Topaz Labs Video AI a plus.
• A working knowledge of Adobe Audition preferred.
• Experience using Asana for project management is helpful but not required.
