About The Position

About the Videographer position We are seeking a skilled Videographer to support the mission and communication efforts of Oklahoma Baptists by capturing, editing, and producing high‑quality video content. This role collaborates closely with ministry leaders to plan, develop, and deliver finished video projects that align with organizational goals, maintain brand standards, and meet budget and timeline expectations. The Videographer must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a creative team, demonstrating strong visual storytelling skills, technical excellence, and consistent attention to detail. This position also provides production support for select conferences and events throughout the year. The position is full time and requires 37.5 hours per week, usually Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Wednesdays until 5 PM). Some seasonal overtime work, including weekends, will be required. The successful candidate must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church and be in agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).

Requirements

  • Technical skills in video, audio, and production workflows.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and related creative software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with audio mixing programs such as ProTools.
  • Experience using team and project management software.
  • Hands‑on experience with professional cameras (e.g., Sony, JVC, Canon, Red).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field, with a preference for 3+ years of professional experience in video or broadcast production.
  • An Associate’s degree in Communications may be considered with 3+ years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce video and audio content for ministry stories, internal and external training, promotional materials, social media, and podcast projects.
  • Develop creative concepts, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, budgeting, and sourcing/licensing project assets.
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders and creative teams to bring projects from concept to completion.
  • Plan and coordinate video shoots, including talent selection, location scouting, and on‑site logistics.
  • Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of all content.
  • Assist in hiring and managing production crews for video shoots and conference production needs.
  • Maintain and manage video equipment, including usage, maintenance, rentals, and availability.
  • Record and edit video content, including media capture, editing, graphics, animations, music integration, voiceovers, exporting, uploading, and archiving.
  • Manage video and audio storage systems for organized and efficient retrieval.
  • Evaluate completed projects to measure effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement.
