About The Position

The Videographer/Producer at Midco is responsible for leading, planning, and creating television and digital advertisements for external business customers. This role involves acting as a liaison to ensure that sales activities meet customer expectations and adhere to company quality standards. The position requires a blend of creative and technical skills to produce high-quality video content while managing relationships with freelance actors and collaborating with various teams.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with a project management application preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, television production, advertising, or equivalent preferred for higher levels.
  • 3-10 years of prior experience in a video production environment required for higher levels.
  • Proficient knowledge of motion graphics and design required for higher levels.
  • General knowledge of digital advertising required for higher levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a project management application preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent software.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and create television and digital advertisements for external business customers.
  • Act as a liaison to business customers to ensure sales activities meet or exceed expectations.
  • Research, identify, and manage freelance actor relationships.
  • Direct and lead medium to large on-location shoots.
  • Perform administrative duties such as proof-reading documents and conducting research.
  • Write professional and effective advertising copy.
  • Work directly with customers to determine advertising requirements.
  • Create and design static and video digital advertising.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement viable solutions.
  • Produce television advertisements, including concept creation, writing, production, videography, and editing.
  • Operate video cameras and non-linear computer editing equipment.
  • Create motion graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or equivalent.
  • Present concepts and explain production methods to customers and Sales Team members.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure customer privacy.
