Requirements

• Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
• Demonstrated experience operating DSLR or cinema-style cameras.
• Strong understanding of lighting for video, including studio, set, and on-location environments.
• Experience editing video in a quick-turnaround production workflow (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
• Highly organized with strong communication skills — you work well with producers, creatives, talent, and teammates.
• High attention to detail in both creative execution and production quality.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a ministry setting
• Experience creating or producing content for children’s programming.
• History of working within a collaborative creative team.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools for ideation, assets, or post-production.
• Experience animating in After Effects, Blender, or Cinema 4D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and eKidz Creative team to develop creative treatments, pitch concepts, and shape video ideas.
• Partner with a Video Producer to plan and prep all production needs — including locations, props, wardrobe, and schedule coordination.
• Build, light, and prep production environments that support the storytelling tone and visual standards of eKidz.
• Operate cinema-style cameras to capture high-quality video content for weekly programming, series, and special projects.
• Work closely with animators, AI artists, designers, and fellow videographers to assemble full episodes of children’s programming.
• Edit videos with excellence in a quick-turnaround, fast-moving production environment.
• Support the Creative Director and Video Producer in executing live streams and live events, ensuring a polished experience.
