About The Position

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, and Basecamp Fitness, is seeking a Videographer/Editor to join its team. We are seeking a Videographer/Editor to lead end-to-end video creation across organic social, paid social, brand campaigns, education modules, and in-studio fitness content capture. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will own production from planning and capture through post-production and delivery, while also setting the standards, workflows, and templates that help our video output scale with consistent quality. The ideal candidate can move seamlessly between fast-turn social and polished campaign work, thrive in dynamic production environments including studios and events, and confidently guide others (freelancers or internal teammates) to great work. Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of After Effects for templated motion graphics.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator for quick graphic or static needs (photos, lower thirds, overlays, thumbnails).
  • Audio editing/mixing proficiency (Audition, Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic, etc.) with strong dialogue clarity and leveling fundamentals.
  • Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows and tools (Topaz Labs, Adobe Firefly, Artlist.io, Elevenlabs).
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to maintain brand consistency across diverse content types.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and communicate timelines and tradeoffs clearly.
  • 6+ years of experience in video production with strong emphasis on capture and editing across multiple content types.
  • Portfolio/reel demonstrating a range of styles, formats, and levels of polish.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering organic social, paid social, brand campaign assets, and educational/L&D content.
  • Strong understanding of production fundamentals: lighting, audio capture, composition, codecs/export settings, and troubleshooting in the field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event capture and rapid-turn highlight edits is a plus.
  • Management experience of video teams is a plus.
  • Experience with event capture and post-production (recaps, highlights, interviews, b-roll in dynamic environments).
  • Experience managing or mentoring editors/producers, or leading freelance teams (delegation, QC, coaching, delivery).
  • Experience working with fitness professionals and/or capturing movement content (form-sensitive angles, pacing, clarity).

Responsibilities

  • Execute video capture and post-production across organic social, paid social, brand campaigns, education/L&D modules, and in-studio fitness content, delivering platform-ready assets that meet brand standards and deadlines.
  • Partner with the creative production lead on pre-production needs, providing shot list input, technical recommendations (camera/audio/lighting), and channel format requirements to ensure efficient capture and a smooth edit.
  • Own the editorial and technical approach in post-production, including pacing, audio cleanup/mixing and mastering (dialogue leveling, noise reduction, music selection), color correction/basic grade, captions, branded motion templates (lower thirds, supers, title cards), versioning, and exports.
  • Create on-brand graphic elements as needed to support video delivery (titles, overlays, thumbnails, end cards, etc.), in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain technical equipment, conduct regular maintenance, and oversee equipment inventory to ensure optimal performance.
  • Efficiently manage and maintain video files and asset storage systems to streamline workflow and accessibility.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with other project and program leaders to enhance overall project effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with and delegate projects to contractors, ensuring their prompt completion while upholding brand and quality standards.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for the design of new content programs.
