About The Position

We are hiring a full-time videographer to work directly with the CEO, capturing high-impact content that builds brand presence across social and digital platforms. This is a camera-forward, on-site role where you’ll be behind the lens daily — filming interviews, short-form content, day-in-the-life moments, thought leadership, and candid behind-the-scenes footage as it happens.We work with a third-party editor for post-production, so your focus will primarily be on shooting, with light editing support when needed. This role is ideal for someone creative, energetic, and excited to move fast inside an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on videography skills; confident operating camera gear
  • Experience with lighting and audio setups for professional output
  • Basic to moderate editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, or similar)
  • High level of trust, discretion, and professionalism
  • Comfortable filming in both professional and private settings
  • Based in Austin with reliable transportation
  • Organized with file management and communication
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight

Nice To Haves

  • Experience shooting executive or founder-led content
  • Familiarity with social-first, short-form video formats
  • Creative instincts for storytelling and brand building

Responsibilities

  • Film the CEO regularly — structured shoots and organic moments
  • Capture interviews, thought leadership, behind-the-scenes, and day-in-the-life content
  • Shoot both short-form and long-form video optimized for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Set up and manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment across different locations
  • Ensure clean, professional visual and audio quality
  • Organize footage and manage file transfers to remote editing partners
  • Execute light editing when needed (rough cuts, reels, social-ready clips, captions)
  • Support fast-turnaround requests tied to CEO schedule and priorities
  • Brainstorm new content ideas, formats, and creative approaches
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
