About The Position

The Video Teller Manager (ITM Manager) position at Equity Bank involves delivering superior customer service and enhancing customer experience through effective communication and collaboration with various departments. The role requires accurate processing of financial transactions, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and the ability to refer or sell bank products and services. The manager will also be responsible for training and mentoring new representatives, ensuring operational soundness, and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1+ years' Customer Service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with video communication.
  • Ability to analyze, investigate and achieve results.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capable of working with a team to determine solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years' banking experience.
  • 2+ years' Customer Service experience.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with both external and internal clients.
  • Promptly accept calls and video sessions and create a welcoming, engaging, professional environment for each customer encounter.
  • Respond to routine customer inquiries and requests received via email, secure messages, and chat.
  • Transition service opportunities into referral or sales interactions.
  • Work jointly with other departments to provide an enhanced customer experience.
  • Train and mentor new representatives.
  • Accurately process financial transactions including transfers and refunds.
  • Minimize risk related to negotiable instruments and transaction authority.
  • Evaluate documents presented by the customer for authenticity.
  • Adhere to bank and retail operating procedures and protocols.
  • Apply critical thinking to find effective solutions and resolve customer concerns.
  • Proactively match bank deposit and loan products to customer needs.
  • Market bank products and services.
  • Complete periodic compliance training.
