About The Position

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a Video Telecommunication Specialist to support a Federal agency. This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Candidate must be eligible for a Public Trust Clearance.

Requirements

  • Four (4) year of experience demonstrating the required proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency
  • Candidate must be eligible for a Public Trust Clearance.
  • IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CySA+ ) as per DoD 8570.01-M standards.
  • CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
  • Associate or professional-level certification in relevant AV/VTC technologies.
  • Additional certifications in AV system management or video conferencing technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform video capturing and transfer video to a media streaming server.
  • Troubleshoot VTC and conference room equipment and execute repairs or initiate support tickets for components external to the VTC system.
  • Conduct routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, servers, and workstations operate optimally.
  • Resolve system operational issues through troubleshooting and fault isolation.
  • Schedule and manage Audio/Video (AV)/VTC sessions, coordinate reservations and scheduling with external agencies for executive-level users.
  • Set up, test, adjust, operate, and shut down equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions.
  • Provide consulting and training to clients on AV/VTC equipment control, interfaces, and usage.
  • Act as equipment custodian and perform asset management and accountability functions for AV/VTC systems.
  • Assist in designing and engineering conference, classroom, and training room setups, providing recommendations based on user needs.
  • Maintain and oversee the maintenance of digital and analog AV equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performing inventory management.
