We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Tech is responsible for the operation, configuration, and oversight of advanced video systems in support of secure audiovisual environments. This includes managing a range of video technologies such as cameras, switchers, routers, LED walls, and recording/streaming equipment. The role ensures reliable video performance across conference rooms, control centers, and event spaces while mentoring junior video technicians and staying current on evolving video production technologies.

  • Operate and oversee video systems including cameras, switchers, routers, projectors, LED walls, and streaming/recording devices.
  • Configure and troubleshoot video signal flow and ensure equipment connectivity.
  • Ensure consistent image quality through proper frame synchronization, resolution, color balance, and aspect ratio management.
  • Maintain conference room A/V systems, including monitors, video walls, and projection systems.
  • Maintain and update inventory of video equipment, ensuring all components are operational and available.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior video technicians and support staff.
  • Stay current with emerging video technologies, standards, and production techniques through continued training and self-development.
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, and 8-12 years of relevant experience; or
  • Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience; or
  • Doctorate in a technical domain with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience supporting and integrating hardware, software, and network configurations across enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with system administration, network installations, and software deployments.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues involving multiple systems or disciplines.
  • Ability to develop and implement system installation, configuration, and support procedures.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring in multi-site or enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environments, system integration tools, and configuration management.
  • Experience working in mission-critical or secure environments (e.g., defense, aerospace, federal agencies).
  • AMX programming, AMX audio-video control systems, using languages like NetLinx or low-code tools like Node-RED, or to Intel's Advanced Matrix Extensions (AMX) for high-performance computing.
  • Crestron and Extron programming writing code to control and automate audio/visual (AV) systems
  • Expertise in systems integration involving cross-platform environments (Windows, Linux, cloud-based infrastructure).
  • Familiarity with ITIL, DoD STIGs, or other enterprise IT standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating or managing vendor relationships, subcontractors, or technical field teams.
  • Knowledge of and experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Python).
  • Strong document and change management discipline across technical projects.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, or PMP.
  • Experience supporting procedural/policy changes and technical governance across multiple sites or locations.
