About The Position
Spanish River Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Video Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This part-time position is integral to our mission of sharing the love of Jesus through effective communication and storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a highly developed ability to manage and execute video projects that visually narrate the stories of Spanish River Church, the Spanish River Counseling Center, and our church planting initiatives. Each project plays a vital role in accelerating our mission and enhancing our outreach efforts. The Video Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks that encompass the entire video production process, from ideation to the final product. This includes creating original video productions that serve as sermon aids, promotional content for various ministries, and event videography for special occasions. Additionally, the role involves producing social media content and educational videos for the Spanish River Counseling Center. The candidate will also engage in photography tasks, including event, headshot, and product photography, along with photo editing. In the pre-production phase, the Video Specialist will articulate project needs, recruit and schedule volunteers, and manage all legal aspects of productions, such as permits and location agreements. Post-production responsibilities will include video and photo editing, ensuring that all content meets the high standards of Spanish River Church. The role also includes training volunteers in video production and maintaining organized media files. The schedule is flexible to accommodate project needs, with occasional weekend hours required for event coverage. Some projects may involve domestic and international travel to support our multinational church planting efforts.
