About The Position
The Massachusetts Pirates, a professional football team in the Indoor Football League, are seeking a Video Production Intern to join their creative team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production within a dynamic sports environment. The intern will play a crucial role in creating engaging video content that showcases the team's highlights, promotions, and advertisements. The position involves assisting with the broadcasting of home games, providing a comprehensive learning experience in sports media production. As a Video Production Intern, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing video content that will be distributed across various platforms, including social media, the team's website, and video boards during games. You will also assist in the technical aspects of video production, including camera setup, lighting, audio management, and editing. This role requires a strong understanding of videography and proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools such as VidSwap Software. The internship is part-time and unpaid, but it offers the potential for school credit. The hours are flexible, making it an ideal opportunity for students or individuals looking to gain experience in the sports industry. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working in a customer-facing role and possess strong interpersonal skills.
