About The Position

WeatherTech is seeking a Video Production Assistant to join our team. As our Video Production Assistant, you will support our Videographers and Producers in creating social media, website, paid search, promotional and advertising video content that converts for the WeatherTech brand. Since its inception, WeatherTech’s creative studio has produced top-of-the-line digital content, and we’re looking for our next talented team member! Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of recent post-ed experience in a video production environment.
  • General technical knowledge of video and studio equipment, as well as proper on-set etiquette.
  • 21 years of age or older with a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Technical and creative proficiency in capturing video using mirrorless cameras, gimbals and iPhone cameras.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team while exercising sound professional judgment.
  • Deeply creative with a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work and demonstrate strong performance standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability and a positive attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong creative sensibility.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven and a dependable contributor in a collaborative team environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist videographers in all aspects of production on set, as well as on location
  • Help with setup and breakdown of sets and equipment
  • Aid in prop acquisition, prop and equipment transport, vehicle and talent prep
  • Participate in routine studio maintenance and organizational tasks when needed
  • Support processes involving equipment assessment, maintenance, service and calibration as required
  • Manage on-set and on-location capture log sheets
  • Work a varied schedule mostly consisting of weekday daytime hours, with occasional early mornings, evenings or weekends, and travel when required
  • Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
