About The Position

The Video Producer will be responsible for creating, editing, and producing video content for Journal Technologies. This role will work closely with our marketing team to concept, shoot, and deliver videos that showcase our products, customers, events, and thought leadership. This is a project-based, contracted role located in Los Angeles County with work assigned as needed throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Producer, Videographer, or Video Editor
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end video production work
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • Experience with lighting, audio, and camera operation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects on deadline
  • Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing B2B, SaaS, or technology-focused video content
  • Motion graphics or animation experience
  • Experience filming interviews or testimonial-style videos
  • Familiarity with content creation for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for marketing, sales, and internal use
  • Produce a variety of video types, including:
  • Product overviews and demos
  • Customer testimonials and interviews
  • Event and conference footage
  • Brand, promotional, and social media videos
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards
  • Manage the full video production process, from pre-production through final delivery
  • Edit footage into polished, on-brand videos with appropriate graphics, music, and captions
  • Ensure videos align with Journal Technologies’ brand, tone, and messaging
  • Deliver final assets in formats optimized for web, social media, email, and presentations
