About The Position
Join UW Health, the #1 hospital in Wisconsin, as a Video Producer where you will play a crucial role in storytelling through video. This full-time position is based in Madison, Wisconsin, and involves a 40-hour work week, typically from Monday to Friday, with core hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. As a Video Producer, you will be responsible for transforming complex health topics into engaging and understandable stories for a general audience. You will need to establish rapport with interview subjects, including leaders, caregivers, and patients, to make them feel comfortable during the filming process. Your role will involve coordinating, scheduling, managing, and implementing all aspects of video projects within the Marketing department. This includes defining the creative direction, writing scripts, organizing logistics, and maintaining communication with the project team. You will work collaboratively with a videographer to develop project concepts and plans, providing direction during both the shooting and editing processes as needed. This position may also require travel to various locations in Dane County and northern Illinois, although remote work options may be available on a limited basis, which can be discussed during the interview process.
