We are seeking a Video Producer (Level 1 Journalist) to join our growing editorial team in New York. Working within the Reuters multimedia newsroom, you will help break exclusive stories for The Insurer’s subscribers and contribute to Reuters’ global audience of financial professionals.

Requirements

• Experience covering financial services, particularly insurance, reinsurance, or capital markets.
• Strong video production and editing skills.
• A sharp editorial eye and the ability to translate complex topics into compelling visual stories.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced newsroom.
• A passion for financial journalism and a curiosity about the global risk landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with journalists at The Insurer and across Reuters to produce high-quality video that brings complex financial topics to life.
• Conduct TV-style interviews with industry leaders and experts.
