The Video/Multimedia Producer creates engaging video and motion graphic content that supports Tallahassee State College’s enrollment growth, community engagement, and brand storytelling. Reporting to the Video Production Manager, this position manages projects from concept through final delivery, including filming, editing, and motion graphics. The role focuses on interview-driven storytelling and produces content for digital platforms, social media, campus displays, and institutional communications while collaborating with students, faculty, and community partners in a fast-paced production environment. Requirements

  • An associate's degree in digital media, video production, communications, or a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, is required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing narrative structure, pacing, motion graphics, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience producing content optimized for YouTube and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Interest in professional growth within production and creative direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience producing interview-driven, story-based content for marketing, recruitment, fundraising, or institutional communications.

Responsibilities

  • Leading story development and executing end-to-end production for assigned video projects, including pre-production planning, interview direction, filming, editing, and final delivery.
  • Directing on-camera interviews with students, faculty, and community partners, building rapport and guiding non-professional talent toward clear, engaging responses.
  • Designing and producing motion graphics and animated content for digital signage, marquee displays, social media, and video deliverables in alignment with College brand standards.
  • Managing, scheduling, and coordination for assigned projects, including securing interview subjects, locations, and necessary approvals.
  • Maintaining efficient post-production workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, delivering high-quality content within established timelines.
  • Supporting major productions led by the Video Production Manager and progressively assume responsibility for selecting large-scale projects.
  • Maintaining production equipment readiness and upholding established studio standards.
