The Video Engineer position is responsible for all video and audio engineering support of live events, including shading of cameras, routing video/audio sources throughout the facility and technical setup of the production. In This Role You Will Prepare cameras required for live broadcasts in a sports environment, including multi camera shading; Trouble shoot technical issues that occur, and correct or create a “work around” during productions; Operate extensive video/audio routing system, as well as “Multiview” system; Ensure all sources are within SMPTE standards and are performing at optimal levels; Act as final stop for approval in all set-up and pre-set checks for each video production, acting as Video EIC during events and games; Assist the team within managing the camera equipment inventory, identify needs for parts and/or maintenance needed, and being proactive in requesting assistance; Other related duties as needed.
