About The Position

Rhino Staging Florida is a labor company in the “live event industry” and we are looking to hire an Video Engineer (V1) to join our crew for concerts, festivals, and corporate events in the South Florida area. Candidates must work proficiently on varying video presentation switchers. Candidates must submit a polished resume and work history. Video Engineer (V1) Role and Skill Proficiencies Able to setup, operate and troubleshoot video presentation switcher console(s) including patching and running cables to LED Walls, projectors - DSM’s IMAGS, FOH and backstage monitor setup etc. Able to patch and troubleshoot connections and resolutions (Native) between switches, routers, PC and Mac laptops, IPAD, Tablet and phone devices. Also able to setup, patch, and troubleshoot LLC, HHC, PTZ cameras used during the show. Must be able to build, edit, troubleshoot and run a show in PowerPoint and Keynote Presentations Must be able to use live production show calls to direct operators for camera moves and directions, graphic transitions, and audio bump ins Interact with client, VIP’s, performers in a positive manner to handle show workflow and show or script changes Virtual assessment will be held by the Rhino Staging Florida recruiter, and production team lead. STAGE CREW WORK SCHEDULE This is an ON-CALL POSITION with varying work hours and schedules. We are a 24-hour company; 7 days a week plus, holidays. STARTING RATE OF PAY: $50 PER HOUR. Requirements

  • THIS POSITION IS FOR CANDIDATES WITH SOUTH FLORIDA RESIDENCY ONLY.
  • PROOF OF RESIDENCY WILL BE VERIFIED DURING NEW HIRE ONBOARDING.
  • ALL NEW HIRES WILL BE EMPLOYED IN THE RHINO STAGING FLORIDA LABOR POOL ONLY.
  • THIS ROLE DOES NOT FIT WITHIN THE SCHEDULE FLUIDITY OF ITINERANT APPLICANTS THAT TRAVEL REGULARLY.
  • Candidates must work proficiently on varying video presentation switchers.

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on your own
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours. NO SET WEEKLY SCHEDULE
  • Must be willing to work under varying weather conditions
  • Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors
  • Must be willing to wear appropriate attire for concert / corporate events
  • Must understand general AV industry terms and fundamental principles
  • Must be willing to work roles as both a technician and stagehand
  • Have a strong understanding of audio signal flow
  • Able to patch audio snakes, audio amp racks, and mic backline equipment
  • Experience with placing wireless mics and setting up clear-com systems
  • Knowledgeably assist an audio engineer.
