About The Position
We are looking for a Video Editor to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of video creative at Patreon. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling and visually engaging stories across multiple formats, from long-form narratives to short-form social videos. You'll work closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life, maintaining a high level of craft while balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This is more than just an editing job-it's an opportunity to push the boundaries of storytelling and develop new formats that elevate creators' voices. The ideal candidate is not only an expert in Adobe Premiere and After Effects but also someone who understands the nuances of sound design, pacing, and audience. You'll need to be highly organized, able to manage post-production workflows independently, and comfortable taking notes from multiple stakeholders to refine a vision.
