Little SleepiesLos Angeles, CA

About The Position

As a Video Editor at Little Sleepies, you’ll turn raw footage and assets into high-performing ads that help families discover our brand. You’ll create short-form, platform-ready videos for paid social and digital channels, using strong hooks, clear storytelling, and direct response principles to drive results. Partnering closely with our Creative Strategist and Brand team, you’ll move quickly, iterate often, and apply performance insights to sharpen each new edit. If you love fast-paced creative work and know how to make content that converts, this role is a great fit.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing video content for paid advertising and direct response campaigns, with a strong understanding of what drives clicks, conversions, and lower CPA
  • A refined eye for pacing, storytelling, and framing that supports performance-focused creative rather than long-form narrative editing
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar) and comfort working with motion graphics, sound design, and basic animation
  • A solid understanding of the specifications, best practices, and upload requirements for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging ad platforms
  • Ability to analyze performance data, understand what creative elements contribute to success, and apply those learnings to new iterations
  • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with strategists, brand partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, prioritize quickly, and work efficiently within rapid testing and iteration cycles
  • A proactive mindset, staying informed about creative trends, platform updates, and shifts in consumer behavior
  • A high level of organization with consistent file management habits to keep assets, versions, and deliverables easy to locate
  • A willingness to experiment, test new formats, and approach problem solving with creativity and flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Turn raw studio footage, UGC, influencer videos, and static assets into high-performing video ads built for direct response performance marketing
  • Edit and optimize creative across multiple formats and aspect ratios for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and additional digital platforms
  • Develop strong hooks, build persuasive copy overlays, and apply proven direct response principles to improve engagement and conversions
  • Work closely with the Creative Strategist and Brand team to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and brand guidelines while ensuring a consistent visual identity
  • Apply platform-specific best practices, including ideal video lengths, captions, sound design, and conversion-driving visual elements
  • Manage fast turnaround times while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting campaign launch deadlines
  • Stay up to date on performance marketing trends, platform algorithm changes, and emerging ad formats to continually improve creative strategy
  • Maintain an organized file management system for efficient asset retrieval and version control across multiple active projects
