About The Position

The Video Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing video content strategies that align with marketing goals and resonate with the target audience in the manufacturing industry. This role involves collaboration with marketing leadership and product managers to create impactful video content that drives demand and conversions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in using Facebook Insights for data analysis and decision-making
  • Demonstrable understanding and application of brand awareness strategies within a manufacturing context
  • Solid experience in campaign planning and execution, particularly within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing content strategy across various digital platforms
  • Ability to create engaging social media content tailored to a manufacturing audience
  • Experience handling corporate social media accounts, with a focus on promoting manufacturing products or services
  • Expertise in digital video creation, editing and promotion
  • Strong background in video content production, including conceptualization, production, and distribution
  • Experience in writing compelling video scripts that engage and inform viewers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for social media video content in collaboration with marketing leadership and product managers.
  • Conduct research on product reviews and social feedback to create content that aligns with user feedback and comments.
  • Work with marketing to design impactful product campaigns.
  • Create strategies for each product that highlight the unique problem/solution story and differentiate us from the competition.
  • Generate content ideas aimed at increasing demand and conversions, and driving users to our website.
  • Identify the ideal product, tools, materials, and environment for each video.
  • Plan and strategize content to meet video shoot and approval deadlines for product launches and social calendar.
  • Optimize story/video ideas for each social media platform to maximize audience reach.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products in comparison to the competition.
  • Write engaging content for the company blog and LinkedIn posts.
  • Understand the woodworking and construction community to ensure our content resonates with our followers.
  • Uphold the Brand Voice Guide in all content creation.
  • Present innovative ideas and be able to adjust as necessary.
  • Monitor competitors and other industry-leading brand content, providing ongoing qualitative insights and updates.
