We’re searching for a Video Content Specialist to cover a 4 month leave for our client (possibly longer). This role starts the end of May and is on-site in Cottage Grove, It’s a great opportunity to make a difference with a fantastic video team. Is it you? About the Role We’re looking for a creative and technically strong Video Content Specialist to help bring compelling visual stories to life. In this role, you’ll manage and execute more complex video projects from concept through post-production, creating high-quality content that supports strategic goals and reflects brand standards. This is a great opportunity for a video professional who enjoys both hands-on production and stepping into an emerging leadership role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, video production, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 3–5 years of video production experience, with success managing projects from concept to completion
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to develop video content that aligns with business goals and brand standards
  • Experience planning productions using storyboards, outlines, sketches, and other pre-production tools
  • Advanced proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and emerging leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of scripting, filming, editing, and post-production for a wide range of video content with a high level of creativity and technical excellence
  • Plan and execute both studio and onsite video shoots, partnering with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and at a high level of quality
  • Manage video production equipment inventory and maintenance, helping ensure tools are current, organized, and ready to support smooth production workflows
  • Stay current on video production trends, software updates, and new tools to keep content fresh, competitive, and innovative
  • Support the team with mentorship and production guidance, while independently leading smaller video projects
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership
