About The Position

We’re a fast-growing, profitable, self-funded SaaS platform with 4.8★ customer love and a 4.9★ team score. Silktide is launching a new AI marketing platform designed to transform how organizations do marketing. We want to tell that story through content people actually want to watch. We are hiring a Video Content Creator in Austin, TX. This role is for someone who loves turning ideas into compelling video, especially for social media. Where you will work You will spend 3 days per week in our Downtown Austin office, with the remaining days for focused work. We value time together for collaboration, creativity, and learning from one another. What you will do Video Strategy and Planning Help create video ideas to inspire, educate and entertain Spot trends, formats, and opportunities for our audience Build up our video equipment, sets, and process Video Creation and Storytelling Create videos that get people excited about Silktide Produce everything from quick social clips to longer educational videos Experiment with formats, storytelling styles, and creative approaches Production and Editing Own the full journey from idea to finished video Film, edit, caption, and polish content using modern tools Build a fast and repeatable workflow so we can create content consistently Distribution and Growth Optimize our videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more Adapt video into multiple pieces of content such as clips, teasers, and social posts Work to test what performs best and do more of what works Measurement and Iteration Pay attention to what people watch, share, and engage with Learn from the data and refine what we create Keep experimenting with new ideas and formats Examples of the kind of content we like Here are examples of what we do right now: https://youtu.be/1I3eT20TbGo https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWSYD-KxdDxvhRinqF4EufZF5mgazU23a We want someone who can build on this foundation and take it much further. Requirements

• You are a resident of Austin, TX or willing to relocate
• You have 3+ years of experience creating video content for social media
• You have a portfolio that shows creativity, storytelling, and production quality
• You are comfortable scripting, filming, editing, and publishing videos independently
• You are familiar with modern editing tools, captions, and light motion graphics
• You have strong instincts for what works on platforms like YouTube and Instagram
• You enjoy experimenting with new formats and creative ideas
• You can manage multiple projects while collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams
