About The Position

The Video and Content Production Manager is responsible for capturing and editing content for online communications, ensuring alignment with Hendrick Automotive Group's brand identity. This role involves producing various types of video content, managing video production processes, and collaborating with the content team to enhance the company's marketing strategies through innovative storytelling and video technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in film, photography, digital media, or related field preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience as a video producer, editor, and creator in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior camera skills with a creative eye and knowledge of various types of cameras.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including color correction and sound design.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Ability to shoot and edit independently with a positive approach to work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to the needs of automotive retail.

Responsibilities

  • Produce animated and video content for social media platforms, websites, and various marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure that videos and content tell an impactful story and align with brand guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with corporate personnel and key dealership stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with social strategists to enhance online presence.
  • Manage video production for shoots, including camera composition, audio, and lighting.
  • Conceptualize, write, and storyboard content as necessary.
  • Handle media management, editing, color correction, and final file preparation.
  • Assist in casting talent for video shoots when necessary.
  • Work with third-party vendors for video production as required.
  • Stay updated on evolving technologies and trends in video production.
  • Research potential effectiveness of new equipment or software.
