About The Position

Wasatch County Attorney's Office seeks Grant Funded Part-Time Victim/Witness Coordinator. Grade H. Assuming successful grant application the position is funded annually to serve up to 25 hours per week as a liaison for prosecutors with victims and witnesses. Maintains contact and facilitates prosecutor interviews and trial preparation with victims and witnesses. Assesses the needs of victims and witnesses, provides appropriate information and makes appropriate referrals to community services.

Requirements

• Requires bilingual Spanish/English speaking and interpretation skills.
• Two (2) years of work-related experience.
• Completed application, with Resume and college transcripts must be submitted.
• Employment with the county is contingent upon successful completion of the pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to applicants with equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in social or behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field.
• Other combinations of education and experience deemed equivalent may also be considered.
