About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide advanced administrative, customer, and staff support that facilitates the effective operation of the assigned department/division and ensures coordination between legal professionals, staff, and external stakeholders. This position will be the first point of contact between the community and the District Attorney’s Office by operating the front desk and performing Trial Assistant duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training equal to two years of college in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field.
  • At least two years’ experience in law enforcement or social services environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable.
  • Must possess and maintain driving privileges in the State of Oregon

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in State Victim Assistance Academy or National Organization of Victim Assistance.
  • Proficiency with intercultural communication, including the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.
