About The Position

Under general supervision performs administrative work of moderate difficulty in routine or special project work for a department or unit. This position has department specific responsibility. Provides administrative support to Victim Services Division and Director; provides assistance with administering Victim Services Programs; participates in all personnel related activities within Victim Services; schedules appointments and division meetings; takes meeting minutes; assists with monitoring existing grants and program related activities; assists with the development of new or revised operating procedures; may coordinate selected functions within Victim Services; prepares verbal and written reports, documenting relevant program statistics in preparation of program evaluations; locates and distributes documentation and official records as needed and permitted by law; maintains high standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive information and victim records; assist with interpretation of policy & procedures for staff and victims; regular and reliable attendance is required; performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in criminal justice, public relations, social work, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a legal office setting; OR three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in an office setting.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.
